The Story of Lucky Scoop

Before Lucky Scoop became a viral joyful little corner of the internet, I spent three years as a fulltime decoden products artist. My work is turning simple items into colorful and cream cake vibe creations. It was my happy place. Then, inspired by other creators, I picked up my camera and started filming. To my surprise, people loved it. I'll never stop being grateful for that.

But why stationery? Why cute little things?

I lived and studied in North America for 10 years. I love everything there but only one thing always frustrated me: the lack of adorable and functional stationery. At that time, the pens were dull and not practical, often drying out too soon. I remember taking hour-long subway trips with friends just to hunt for decent pens at downtown malls, there were some overpriced "luxury" brands that function but still not that cute.

After I finished my university and moved back home and discovered a world of stationery I'd missed—great designs, reliable quality, and prices that didn't make my student wallet cry. Even though I no longer needed stacks of notebooks or dozens of pens, I couldn't stop buying them. They brought me joy.

Why handmade items?

I decide to include handmade products in my Lucky Scoop list, even though they cost a lot. Because as a full-time crafter, I deeply value the warmth and uniqueness of handcrafted goods. During my years as an artisan, I saw how difficult it is for talented artist to survive in this era of factory production. Many skilled artists don't want to (or can't) become influencers to sell their work. That's why I feature both my own creations and collaborate with other small business artisans—to help share their beautiful work with the world. This isn't just commerce; it's a meaningful way to keep the spirit of handmade alive.

I always think that If I'd had these cute little things during my studies, maybe those lonely, stressful days would've felt a little brighter. A pastel highlighter, a smiling cat sticky note, a pen that writes smoothly and looks like a strawberry. These aren't just tools. They're tiny sparks of happiness. And that's why our slogan is 'add some sparkles to your life'.

So I built Lucky Scoop, not just to sell cute stationery, but to share that feeling. For anyone who, like me, finds happiness in the little things. For the student or adult to find something surprise them in daily lifes.

Welcome to Lucky Scoop. Stay cute, stay inspired.
